| Subject: Name Change on existing Canadian Citizenship |

Just wondering if anyone can help me out. Need to change my chinese name from my existing Canadian Citizenship card on my OHIP, PASSPORT to my english name that I have been using since I arrived in Canada.
Eventually I´ll have to do it so I might as well do it now. But I´m on a tight schedule since I´ll be going on vacation outside of North
America and will need to change it soon. Or should I just wait ´til after my vacation. My concern is that my Canadian Citizenship, OHIP and Passport are the only documents with my chinese name...the rest of my other cards are all under my english name. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

IT TAKES ABOUT TWO MONTHS AT LEAST THE FORMS ARE ON THE CIC.GC.CA SITE IN THE CITIZENSHIP AREA.

The spelling of family name in my son´s Canadian citizenship card is not correct from the very first date when we got this card. So, I would like to know:
1 - How can I (Parent) apply for changing the family name to the correct one?
2 ? How long it takes for issuing the new card?
3 ? Should we go to the related office in order to receive the new card or the card will mail to our address?

It varies slightly from Province to province but if it is a Citizenship Card issue read the Citizenship application guides at www.cic.gc.ca
