| Subject: Report someone for lying to immigration! |

Hey!
Was wondering if anyone could help me, i no someone who is lying to the canadian immigration about having a job already lined up for him in canada, when he actually doesnt, was wondering if there was anyway i could report him for lying, as i am not sure if the immigration services will pick it up.
Any help will be appreciated!

Why do you want to do that? Did that someone done something terrible to you? Why do you want to ruin his lives..why don´t you just let the proper authority to investigate whether that someone really has a valid job or not? If that someone is indeed lying its up to the immigration authority to verify whether its true or not..its thier job, not yours.If they catch them,SORRY...if not...LUCKY...So,mind your own business,you wont get a penny...there are lots of them who cheats..

Are you serious? Do you not realize that it is potential immigrants that Dan has mentioned that make it increasingly more difficult for honest immigrants? The immigration proccess is already extremely difficult to persons wishing to come to Canada LEGALLY, not to mention a very lengthy ordeal. As for you saying it is the immigration authorities job and not ours...wake up! As Canadians, Permanent residence visa holders, and tax payers, it is our duty to report wrong doings...and you are right Blanch...anybody who reports a potential "crime" will not receive a penny, but that is not the point. As for you saying "there are lots of them who cheats"...you have just verified yourself that we have a serious problem with our immigration process and it is one reason that dishonest immigrants should be reported. By the way, I am sure that there are more honest immigrants than dishonest ones.

I am not sure how you can report but Blanch, you are wrong! Never lie or misguide anyone in life... especially the authorities and more so the immigration office. There are different levels of trouble you get into by lying or misrepresenting to the authorities but by lying or misrepresenting to the Immigration Office, there is only one punishment...Refusal of application/ deportation!
It is not right to cheat even if the whole world does it!
Every LUCKY liar, makes one UNLUCKY truthful person!

Blanche is right to ask Dan what is your motive for telling on this person.
Why do you care so much?
What evidence do you have?
Is it quality evidence?
If the applicant is devious (sp) he/she will have provided a phone number that when answered will confirm the applicant has an offer of employment. SO WHAT?
What we are talking about here people is AN OFFER OF EMPLOYMENT (NOT HRSDC APPROVED ARRANGED EMPLOYMENT)!!!!
The person will probably wait two or three years to be processed so what weight will a bogus offer be given in the first place? HOW MANY EMPLOYERS WILL WAIT THREE YEARS TO HAVE AN EMPLOYEE COMMENCE WORK.
Hang in there Blanch keep the common sense flowing.
Remeber all, most Canadian´s cheat on their taxes but a cheat like this is worth nothing in the point scale with CIC.

If the person is submitting a overseas application, I would suggest writing directly to the embassy that would deal with the person´s file - you can find the e-mail address directly on the Canadian embassy´s webpage.
If the person is submitting an application from within Canada, I would write to cic in Canada - www.cic.gc.ca

I a women was married for business and get her paper to stay in canada 15 yrs ago. after one year of her married for business she is living common law with another man and had four kids and still married to the first man and carrey his name. I may belived she will be devorce him in 2010 or 2011.
This women is now a canadian citizen and she had paid 10000 to 15000 for business wedding to stay in canada for life.
If all this information is proven can this person be strip of her right and sent back to the contury that she was originally from.
