Subject: Buffalo processing times
I don´t need the web site with processng times pasted here, but knowing that on an avergage, it takes 9-19 months to process spousal sponsorships, is this true? Has anybody applied and received their visa in less than 9 months?

People say (in reply to: Buffalo processing times)
People say it really depends on:
how difficult your case is; Do you provide all details and information; Do you provide FBI and clerance report up front; Do you do your medicals up front; Do you pay your fees up front; Do you have lot of back up (spousal application) ect.
I guess the key is to make it as simple as possible.
Some people rush to send application without checking it and without informing themselves. That all slows down the process. Also comparing spousal sponsorship with work or spousal of relatives is not possible. Some say that outside of Canada spousal applications are the fastes one.
So all the best to all of us. :D

It's taken me over 5 months to get my AOR (in reply to: Buffalo processing times)
I submitted my documents in early Aug2004 and have just received my ACk of Receipt. Well done !! I guess can now cool my heels for the next 3-4 months. I was misled by agents that Canada has an efficient immigration system.
