Any body has experience about Buffalo background check timelines. Basically I want to know how much is too much.

We have used the Buffalo Background checks for pre-hire situations. It generally was taking 4 working days, However, the last check we got back showed O.K., then on the employees first day she was arrested at our property, for outstanding warrants. I checked with our state D.O.C. records and this individual had a long record and aliases which the Buffalo did not show, So while they may be timely, my experience is they are not accurate.

We got a mail last month with the medical forms and also a letter saying that our file was going to be transferred to Detroit. We have done our medical and now we have recieved a letter requesting background check. Does it really take this long as per the above responses or does it on the average take around a shorter time for the file to be transferred to Detroit. I am from South east asia and does that make a difference in the time taken?
