| Subject: Common law visa |

Hello
I am a uk citizen currently in Canada. I came here with my common law partner a few months ago. He has PR status and I have a 1 year working visa. The intention was that we would apply for a common law visa for me but unfortunately we have just split up.
I´m hoping that someone could maybe shed some light on what my options are if I want to remain in Canada without having to go back to the UK and wait 3+ years for immigration.
I´m contracting at the moment as a sole trader but have the option to set myself up as a corporation - does this open any avenues?
