| Subject: secondary medical exam |
My wife went for secondary medical examination, its been three month since she passed it. How long does it take for the embassy to review secondary examination and come up with the decision? She is in Russia. Thank you very much for your replies.

You are well within the processing times. How do you know that she passed the medical examination?
She will only pass the medical examination once the medical officer will give the green signal which should have been done by now. Wait for some more time as background/security checks also need to be completed. You can also order CAIPS if you are in Canada to see the progress made on your file.

Thank you for your reply. Well, when I said "passed" I did not mean that it was positive or negative, in the cense that positive or negative results have been released to me or her in that matter. What I meant is that it has been three month since she went for her secondary exam. However my question now is: What is CAIPS, and how do I get it? Thank you very much.
