hi. i applied as independent immigrant 3 years ago here in canada. after 2 years i was scheduled for interview in detroit but unfortunately i was not granted US visa due to the fact that i have overstayed. now my file was forwarded to my country and currently being processed. recently my consultant received a letter from immigration asking me to update all my documents. granting that i have overstayed here, do you still see any chances on my case? what is the best thing for me to do?

(in reply to: immigration application) If no legal proceedings were initiated against you in US then overstay in US should not affect your application in most cases.
