What´s the best way to land in Canada?
1. By air or can I drive across in a friend´s car to Windsor & do my landing there?
2. Also, can I carry traveler´s checks for the entire amount they´ve specified or would cash be better?

1. You can go by air,car,or by 11 number bus (by foot).
2. Traveler´s cheques are safer.

I landed in Canada on my feet! And it felt better than landing otherwise... LOL

1. Does that mean that you took Bus Number 11 across from Detroit to Windsor?
2. Are you supposed to take your belongings (in suitcases) with you while landing?
3. Is there anything else that needs to be taken when landing?

1) can you land on a weekend? I mean "enter canada from usa" on saturday - do landing and "get back to usa from canada" on sunday (the very next day). Would that be ok?
2) can you enter canada on an extended 1-94 and get back to usa (even though the usa visa is expired but 1-94 is valid)?
Please please advise!
