Subject: Suprise withdraw
  Hey

I am Nazmul applied for Cabadian Immigration on last July 2007. Recently I updated my application with current documents. After updating the application I received a mail from Canadian visa office of London that they have withdrawn my application as per my request and they are going to send me my money back within four month.

Where as I never asked them to do so. I just update my application as per their requirement.

Now anybody can tell me what might happened. and what I can do now?

Thanks
Nazmul

did you use a consultant that you might not have paid? did you give your file number to someone? Did you miss a deadline for information requested by CIC? Do you have someone around you that would like to see your immigration application fail?

No id did not use any consultant or nobody knows my file number. I gave all the information they required in proper time. Now what should I do? is there any way to reopen the file. Its not my mistake.

If you did not ask for withdrawal then fax them detailing the situation and they will take care of it. What happened to you has happened to other people too.

Starting off by implying that a Consultant might cancel Mir application is like showing a red flag in front of a bull.

Why not mention a Lawyer too.

From the posting like others again it is not clear if it is a spousal sponsorship, a Fed. SW, or PNP application etc..

Not all consultants are related to the devil. This idividual was requested to update his application and may have checked off a box to witdraw or the visa post may have made a terrible mistake and he did nopt make a mistake.

Sure there are some Lawyers that are terrible, some consultants as well. These people need to decrease the amount of mistakes if they want to stay in Budiness. Cancelling an application based on their name would be suicidal if their regulator ever found out.

The most serious mistakes are made by applicants themselves submitting their own information when they have a just a little knowledge.

An application especially a SAP is like a cake without any toppings. Certain individuals need to make it more attractive to expedite the process depending on their visa post.

Certain individuals need no assistance if they follow the guides for overseas immigration.

SHARON and others, please stop bashing consultants who can´t hide behind Lawyer client privilage and unlike Lawyers can be disciplined for Professional Negligence.

Mir fax and write every single day until you get a response from your visa post regarding their recent withdrawal letter.

Thanks Sharon, Samm and Roy,

I have just receive a mail from the London office that they made a mistake and they apologized for that. Like Sharon I always try to avoid consultant and Lawyers ( but not for legal proceedings). A person who applied for job or applied for a Phd position does not need any support from anybody. The immigration process is also like that. The website have the Operational Manuals, I always follow the OP6 manual its very simple. Roy also have a point that the consultant and Lawyers are in a profession (not in a Occupation or Job) and they must follow a professional ethics, many of them don´t have such ethics like many doctors and teachers don´t.

Thanks again for your support
Nazmul

Roy, relax. I mentally included lawyers even if I did not spell it out.

My questions were to find out if our original poster even filed his application correctly, or forgot to mention a minor detail like ´forgetting´ to pay his consultant.

Things are more then a little frustrating these days because I have to prove before I do the work that I can do it.

So many applicants think that only Lawyers are good it drives me over the edge sometimes. I know who is good and who is not.

Relaxed now.
