| Subject: Additional Family Information - Signatures |
My spouse has not signed the part on the additional family information form where he certifies that he has not children. He has signed the bottom of the form. Do you think if I submit the immigration and sponsor forms without this one signature, it will cause delays?

Yes it will cause delays. It says on the application guide...application package will be returned if not signed. I would get it signed instead of immigration office sending you package back or document back for signature.
Or Contact the immigration office before submitting it. My friend had the same situation and her package was returned to complete the application.

Slow down and answer this question the same as it is asked on the form.
Does he have children? If not he signs there. If he has step children because of you sometimes that will be over looked. It is always better to list the partners children and to show photo´s with them as well.
If children are listed he must NOT sign there.

Thanks for your responses. He does not have children, therefore it sounds like it is mandatory that he sign the part where he does certify he indeed has none. I would rather avoid any delays in processing, so if this signature is mandatory and would be deemed the forms would be deemed incomplete, it sounds like I have no choice but to get the signature first and then submit. Thank you for your help.

It is mandatory...Husband has to certify that he doesn´t have any children. Get him to sign first before submitting it.
