Hello Gurus:
I am preparing to file out the skilled-worker based immigration application. I have been living and working in California, U.S. for over 10 years. After reading online filing instruction, It seems that I am NOT eligible to use the simpfied filing form. I must use regular filing form and send it to Buffalo office. Could anyone confirm it please. The simplified form looks much easier to fill out:(
Regards,
David

(in reply to: Newbee needs your advice) If you are submitting your application to Buffalo use normal application forms.

Question (in reply to: Newbee needs your advice) Sorry, I am very new to Canadian immigration process.
Do I have a choice to file in another office in the U.S. if I live in California?

(in reply to: Newbee needs your advice) You can submit your application to Canadian post serving your home country or a country where you have been legally admitted for atleast one year and are residing in that area.
Since you have been residing in US for last 10 years I am assuming you were lawfully admitted for atleast one year, this means you are going to submit your application to Buffalo office.
No, you do not have a choice.

(in reply to: Newbee needs your advice) You submit to Buffalo RPC regional processing post and select LA to process your file in case of interview.

Moving on, more help needed (in reply to: Newbee needs your advice) Hello Gurus:
I just filled out applications today. Now I am in the process to organize my supporting documents. I have following questions that needs your advice:
1.Is my bachelor diploma sufficient or do I still need to provide a copy of my high school diploma?
2. Do I need provide academic transcript?
3. Do I need to attach my non-criminal records and medical record with my application or Can I mail them in later because the entire process is going to be over a year?
4. Do I have to show fund right now or can I show it before I move to Canada if my case gets approved?
5. Sorry for my ignorance, Vancouver is located in what Province?
