Hi all,
I have completed first two years course of chartered accountany and have qualified the intermediate exam. I need to know whether I can claim points for this? Please help.

There is less chance to get points for intermediate pass certificate until you become a chartered accountant with final pass certificate.But if you have any other graduation level degree and 15 years of full time or equivalent to full time study then you can expect 2 more points in addition to 20 points showing your artiled training certificate of 3 years under a chartered accountant

Thanks Harpreet,
I have done 14 years graduation and then did two years CA foundation course. I have not done articles but started job immediatly after passing CA Foundation (2 years intermediate) exam.
Please if you could let me know whether I can claim points for the 2 years foundation (Intermediate) course?

You should not claim points for foundation course.If you have done intermediate exam. which come after foundation course and have certificate of completed training only then you can claim for points.However you can get good points for your graduation and job experience.I am telling according to education and training of Chartered Accountancy in India So where are you?

Dear Harpreet,
I have done Graduation then attended college for two yeasrs to do CA inter which I qualified. As per Institute of Chartered Accountants in Pakistan requirement, to sit in final exam of CA you must take four years practical training. But, I after CA inter started job and still in job.

Dear Faisal
Then you can apply for immigration as soon as you qualify for 67 points and keep a record of CA inter to provide good impression before visa officer without expecting any points for it.
