Subject: Why I Answer?
  Morning all

Slept in this morning. I answer peoples questions because sometimes they get the wrong advice. I spend every week in my office or via e-mail hearing from people who have been given BAD ADVICE! I have to try to correct all the things that they did wrong or where told to do incorrectly.

I saw a post asking if any one knew of a good Consultant or Lawyer in the GTA Greater Toronto Area. I did not reply. I viewed another posting and when I went back to the main page someone had recommended a firm in Mississauga. The person recommending did so by not signing their name.

I decided to check on who was the person being recommended. The person had only a few years of business experience with few credentials but a nice web page.

All I did was suggest that the potential client get references from this persons past clients and some proof that they have assisted others with similair issues. I got blasted, called names and the person doing the recommending called my office and tried to see whether or not I was knowledgeable.

Sharon thought something was amiss and called me while seconds earlier some postings had shown up signed by me. I was at Toys R Us. THAT WAS WHEN I LEARNED WHAT AN IP ADDRESS IS.

I AM TIRED OF TELLING THIS STORY.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND KIND WORDS, NOT ALWAYS ARE MY REPLYS SO NICE, I´LL TRY NOT TO HURT SOMEONES FEELINGS BUT WHEN YOUR WRONG YOUR WRONG. MOVE ON TO A NEW TOPIC INSTEAD OF POSTING A REDICULOUS COMMENT LIKE THE ONE THAT ATTEMPTED TO TARNISH MINE AND SHARONS NAME.

I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO KNOW HOW TO FORWARD AN E-MAIL ATTACHEMNT IN POWER POINT SO THAT ALL COULD SEE A TRULY ROSY PICTURE OF CANADA. I TRULY THINK EVERYONE WILL APPRECIATE VIEWING THE PRESENTATION.

SOME ONE FROM (NOT CANADA) SPAMED ME SO I SENT THIS REALLY GREAT POWER POINT PRESENTATION ABOUT CANADA TO THEM AND ASKED THEM NOT TO SPAM ME ANY MORE.

THEY REPLIED WITH A WELL THOUGHT OUT PHRASE.

"F U"

Roy,

Keep up your good work, don´t get upset by some handful mean guys. Your works are well appreciated by the majority, there be always few bad apples in the basket.

Powepoint file attachment is nothing very special; though not sure whether I got your issue correctly. You can attach a powerpoint file with an e-mail just like any word, excel..or any file. Unless it is not too big for your internet provider then it should be OK.

Good question.

I think that depends on the webmaster or the capacity of this site.

Some websites may allow you to post attached files as VDO or in any other format. I also don´t know a lot about this. Hope someone may help us directly.

I don´t think there is any way to stick an attachment on this forum.

how unfortunate in this case.

I for one, have appreciated your insights and your willingness to help me in my own immigration drama. I have never met you and we have only spoken a few times on the phone but I sense you are just a honest guy doing honest work with very little appreciation.

Sounds like Canada!!!!!

I agree with everyone here. I have very much appreciated your advice and really couldn´t thank you enough.

Not sure if you still remember my posting but I am the one with the expired passport problem. I just called my airline. It seems that they will allow me to board the plane with my valid Hong Kong Identification Card alone.

I was in major panic, as you can tell from my posting. But you reassured me that it is possible to fly with my HKID so I went ahead and called my airline. And it works!

Thank you soooo very much!

Hey Roy,

I appreciate your inputs to this forum. The only point of contention seems that sometimes you guys go over board with how canadian PRs should not be trying to seek greener pastures in usa. That dosen´t make much sense to anyone.

Thanks again for this great forum! Your advise is always welcome.
