Subject: Got IA after 3 months !!!!
Who said that it takes about one year to get IA done ?? Well I thought it was the average with SW application.

I have just received medical request!!! Only 3 months after I applied in Buffalo ... I am soooooo happy! I just can´t believe it!

Anyway I have 3 quick questions:

#1 Do we have to pay the RPRF now or later ? They request it now but I wonder if we can pay later. What is best to do ?

#2 They ask me to send PCC from Spain. I have only spent one month in Spain 10 years ago for holidays, is it OK to tell them that it is a mistake and I don´t need to send one ????

#3 Once medicals are done, how long it takes to get everything finalised ? They waived the interview. thanks

Congrats!

Can you tell us when did you get your AOR?
Are you in Canada? Work permit? LMO? PNP?

How did you send your application anything different you did?

Please share your experience.
Thanks,

It´s really abnormal to get IA so fast , for me it took 14 months just to get IA after AOR , well congrats

Yes, Pay RPRF immediately, U can try to get spain PCC from Spain embassy, if not try and explain CIC writing a letter

For me it took 3 months after medicals to get PPR

Ahmed,

AOR - April 2007
IA - July 2007

We applied through skilled worker in Buffalo. I am a H-1B holder. There is one thing I did that perhaps others don´t though I am not sure if that is the reason for them for being so fast. When I sent my application, I gave each and every documents from the checklist in a separate file, means each section was separated by a paper clip.

So it was VERY EASY for the CIC officer to read and check my application. I made it extremely clear but I don´t know if that is the reason. Maybe not, who knows ? My AOR also came quickly.

KK

So am I breaking the speed records for SW application ? I also thought it was abnormal.

Still one question: I stayed in Spain for ONE MONTH only for holidays, do I need to get a PCC for that ??? I don´t think so it looks like a mistake.

No I did not.

I do not have a job offer in Canada ...I wish I had, I only applied through Skilled Worker in Buffalo.

I still haven´t recovered the great news. Canada sounds so close all of a sudden.

That´s so cool to hear. I just ordered my FBI certificate and will submit as soon as I receive it. Did you have to submit state police certificate or just FBI ? I am ordering certificates in all states I´ve lived in. Don´t know if it´s necessary.

Its seems like they are doing it faster these days....

My AOR was Dec 4, 2006
IA June 11, 2007

but still not as fast as yours.....and I also dont have AE or PNP...I am on H-1B as well and applied under SW.

Now the dilemma is, since priority dates are now current and USCIS is accepting for AOS, it is hard to pick US or Canada. I wonder if there is a way to keep the two valid.
