| Subject: Proof of intention to return to canada with spouse |

My husband and I work and live outside Canada. Given that it will take a minimum of 12 months to process my husband´s PR application, I would like clarification on what proof can be provided to ensure CIC that I will return to Canada with my husband. I cannot apply for a position when I do not know when I can start, and it will be a minimum of 14 months in the future. Our only other options appear to be to purchase property or that I physically return to Canada now without my husband (he can´t get a visitor visa - Cuban living/working outside Cuba on valid work permit). We are not prepared to be separated for 12+ months. Our current plan is for me to go to Canada to purchase property without the input of my husband, but this will delay our ability to finish the application and submit the forms. Not to mention the cost of maintaining two households for over a year. Any better options that will satisfy CIC?
