Subject: Looking for Canada job from USA - contd..
I was tasting the water in this spring when I officially became PR.. I am IT manager here in US and floated my resume with US address - no or very less call... then later I changed the address and ph# of my Canadian friend .. in a week - I received 3 telephonic interview.. could able to manage one job.. since I was not indented to move to Canada until 2009 .. so politely said NO to the future employer...If you are in IT ...then it is easy to grab job while you are in US...not sure about the others industry !

Hi Samusa,

Thanks for your post. Yes indeed, you responded to my question. It is better to be in Canada, sounds obvious now. We don´t know anyone yet so we cannot provide a contact number but your experience tells it all.

I am not in IT, I have a physics background but want to find a bilingual job (I am native French-speaker and fluent in English).

You see I am still on a job here with my H1-B and I have not resigned yet. We still think we should stay a few more months .. it does sound scary to move without job.

The truth behind my situation is that I had a job interview in Alberta but did not get the job. So we thought we would move there but then PR comes and job doesn´t so ... I am scared.

My experience while I was in Canada and lots of feedback from my Canadian well wisher.... the only thing they told me if you move in Canada without job then your life may be hell however with job... your life would be heaven...so I would not move to Canada without a job. PERIOD !
