| Subject: Landing & 'Goods to Follow" B4A delay |

My wife was just issues her visa (after 3 years of waiting). We´d like to do the landing sooner rather than later, but we can´t get to Mexico right now (where some of her possessions are), likely in Decemeber. Can we do the landing now and fill out the B4A ´Goods to Come´ form and have the goods come in January?
Is there a time limit on the Goods to Follow?

Yes. Your goods do not have to come at the same time and can follow later. You can land and submit your B4 forms with "Goods to Follow" box checked. Canadian Immigration gives you unlimited time to then bring your remaining goods to Canada.
But at landing, your B4 forms must be complete and contain everything you want to bring now and later.

The B4 form must include any car you intend to import. You can import your car later but you must include it in the B4 form at the time of landing. You can´t add a car later. If you do, you´ll have to pay import duties and provincial taxes (15% I think).
