| Subject: change of main applicant for skilled worker |
hi, forum can any one tell that my wife had applied for the canadian immigration in 2007 as skilled workker, however me too is eligible for that, i got my file #, can i change the main applicant. i.e. instead of my wife can i aply for that and wil the file # remains the same or not ???

You can request them to do the same citing the reasons. Its up to them to entertain the request.
In your case, since both of you qualify, Why bother CIC?
