| Subject: waiting for AOR |
I applied in sept 04 at buffalo and have not received AOR yet.Could anybody suggest what to do?Does it generally take this much time or there is some problem with my case?

it depends, i heard that some persons had to wait about 3-6 months to get the file #, so i guess the best thing for you to do now is to wait patiently. good luck

It is an unofficial website where prospective immigrants like you and me share their timelines. According to that website currently people who applied in Sept 04 are getting AOR so you should expect to get your AOR soon. Keep in mind that due to Christmas holidays there may be some delays.
