What are the real rules and tricks regarding acompany spouse abraod. I work abroad a lot and dont want my wife to lose PR before she gets citzenship.

As long as she is with you (assuming you are a canadian citizen) she will not lose her PR. however she may not be able to fill the citizenship requirement since that requires physical presence in Canada.

There are no tricks read regulation 61 (1)through (6)
