I have applied without any agent and the application is in progress.

Visit www.cic.gc.ca and will give you the details of how to immigrate with all the forms required for General and Visa office specific.

Further questions welcomed.

Penny....Dont mean to be rude but if you can read english and a desire to move to canada, then PLEASE spend some time reading all the info that is provided on CIC´s website. Come on do a little effort, dont just come here and expect people to do all the leg work for you and spoon feed you all the minor info.

Learn by reading the official Canadian Immigration website. (in reply to: new applicant for migration to Canada)
Penny:

The Government of Canada has spent millions of dollars, to set up and maintain informational websites, for people like you, who want to come to Canada, as immigrants.

All of the information is there, for you to read and learn about the process. YOU have to do the work, and do the learning, yourself.

The process is long and involved, BUT that helps to weed out those who aren´t really serious about coming to Canada. It takes both time and patience to get here. Do you have the courage to move half way around the world, to a country that you have never seen before ?

Maybe you need to think more about this idea. Immigration is NOT for everyone.

Hi Penny,
Don´t be annoyed or take it personal, if you want to do this application yourself it needs a lot of reading, patience and research of the site given to you and you will be able to get the fact without anybody confusing you. You won´t pay for the lawyer or representative but you have to pay for the processing fee which you will equally see on the site.
I wish you best of luck and please feel free to ask any question if you are confused, many people are here to help you.
