Subject: Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF)
I got the letter from CIC Buffalo to submit the RPRF of $455(US Dollars)for each applicant, which I submitted $910US for me and my wife. Today I got the letter from CIC saying the fee I submitted was wrong and I should submit fee of $490 for each applicant and total of $980US. Can any body tell me how much is the RPRF for each applicant in US Dollars?

I guess since the canadian dollar has appreciated in recents months the CIC has changed the fee structure if you pay in US funds. Please, check the CIC website for the exact US dollar amount.

Fee now is either 490 CAD each per applicant or 490 USD per applicant.

I have got the letter a week ago for RPRF.

Yes it is now 490 US or Canadian Dollars. It changed on July 16, 2007. They returned my check (415 USD)and asked for more.

Please i need to find out... i applied for permanent residency under the Federal skilled workers parkage in April last year and was replied with a reference number in july, to proceed to ghana. but i was told that if i dont have the complete document i should not apply to the visa office yet, cos i would have 120 days to send the entire document to them... i just got the ielts result and police clearance, can i still send it?
