My husband and I are international students in U.S. and hold F1 visa. Currently,we are going to immigrant to canada. Now we get the letter from the embassy to ask for passports. We have some concerns about the status of us in U.S. We want go back to U.S. to finish the study so we wish to come back after landing Canada. Is it easy to get the visa from Canada to America in our case? What should us pay more attention? Thanks.

(in reply to: about the visa) Do what my friends did. When they give you landing permit, it is usually valid for several months. Once you get the visa stamped, ask your International Student Office to give you the necessary paperwork to re-enter US after you leave (on vacation). Go to Canada, land there quietly and gently, get a local address setup and take care of stuff, return to US. If you need to go to CanuckLand again, take another vacation, get re-entry permit and do the routine again! My Chinese friends did it successfully. I was dumb so I waited till I became refuse! LOL
