Hi,
Can any one tell me about Police Certificate " I applied for Canadian Immigration from (Islamabad) in 2004 when I was in Pakistan. In 2005 end I got a Job here and I moved to Dubai and since then I am here what I want to know is that from where in Dubai I can get the Police Clearance Certificate and what documents are required for it and how long does it takes.

Hi Abdul,
You would need to contact the Police Department in Dubai
for further info on processing your Police clearance
certificates.
You may also contact the Canadian Consulate in the UAE and inform them that you wish to apply for PCC from Dubai (for Canada). They will give you a letter addressed to the local Police authority in Dubai, requesting them to
assist you in lodging the PCC.
Normally the Police will take your fingerprints and
verify the same against their database. That´s all there is
to it, if it´s clear, you should have your PCC in a matter of 1-2 weeks maximum.

Also need a Police clearance from Pakistan (in reply to: Police Certificate)
You ALSO need a Police clearance report from your home country, Pakistan, before you can apply to come to Canada.
Canadian Immigration needs to be able to track you, on paper, from your birth date to the current date, including a possible criminal record. Without full documentation, your Immigration application may be delayed, or possibly denied outright.

Well, Abdul, you pretty much need a PCC for every country you´ve lived in since attaining the age of 18.
Jim´s comments are valid, and you have to arrange the
clearances accordingly.
