I have landed on July 15 and yet to get my PR cards. Is this expected? More than a month now. What is the usual timeframe.
Also I am back to US now and planning to move permanently next year March. How can i contact CIC regarding my cards as the phone works only with in CANADA. Any mails or fax( which can work from US). I am v tensed. Please advise me.

You can´t call CIC from the US. Their 1-800 is only good for within Canada.
But there is a way, you can make a 3 way calling using a contact in Canada. Few of my freinds have done that.

I hope that you realise that there is a dead line for activating your PR status ? If you don´t get into Canada in a timely manner, you may be out of luck. In other words, why are you waiting 7 months to finally get here?

I think KK already got his PR status, just waiting for the PR card to arrive. He is now free to re-nter Canada, even without PR card, the worse case scenario.

Pls do not use KK name , i am on thuis forum for more than 18 months now with KK name
Within 6 weeks u will get cards , don´t worry
