finally !!!!We received the letter today .
CIC is asking for our passeport to issue visas before october 1st 2007.
We have been waiting for 24 months. I cannot beleive it !!!!
Good luck to all of you out there waiting and going to the pr process.

thank you Roy;eventhough I didnot get personal advice from you I appreciate all of your input through this forum.
Dan Cromack , yes it was long but our situation was complicated, so I guess they needed more time to check everything out ( we were out of status in the US and I was deported from there right before we applied, and a few other things that delayed everything)

Hi Mikoman , 1st of all congrats , lucky u atlast , if u dont mind can u tell me from where u had applied ur application , and the date on which u had given ur medicals , bcos u had written embassy had asked u 2 submitt passport 2 issue visa before 1st-Oct- 2007

we applied at buffalo newyork as my husband is still in the us and is the principal applicant. it s not the ambassy that asked us passeports but cic buffalo, before october 7 2007 ( my mistake it was not october 1) so i am going to send by express mail our passeports and my husband will probably go himself to buffalo. the whole process should last about 15 days max.
dan comrack , my husband is a turkish national, and me and the kids are french ( our first born is us citizen /french)

thank u for ur feedback , one more thing i guess u forgot 2 mention when is ur medicals expires ...? and be in touch whenever u get ur visas just let us know , all the best , i am also waiting for my passport to receive from New-delhi.

we passed the medical exams in France on june 20 2007 and my husband passed it in the us one week before us .I guess the medicals will expire in one year from that day .
