Subject: child after PR before landing
I was reading these post from P Walia about his visa that could be cancelled if he gets married before landing.

Does the same thing happen if you have your PR but have not landed yet and you give birth to a child. Does your visa become cancelled ?

Do we have to land before delivery ?

Thanks for response.

yes u have to land before delivery because in the passport request letter it clearly says donot submit ur passport for visa if u r pregnant and wish to land after giving birth to the child.

Baby before landing (in reply to: child after PR before landing)
Becareful.
The law states its mandatory all members of family be examined before landing or they will not be considered family class.

You have 2 choices.
1- Land before delivery
2- Inform CIC change of family status / you have to submit new baby´s medical . Off course baby is not security risk unless baby has seen Osama in his dreams. :) By the time CIC updates its file and include new baby you may run out of your own medical expiry.

Good Luck

Remember never hide any family member before landing or that member will never enter Canada as family member. Its the law. Lot of Inidian are in trouble because of ill advice. I have two similar cases and nothing can be done except that member should earn immmigration on his/her own merit.
