I lived in Germany but I have applied through Vienna (Austria) as Vienna is HQ for West Europe. It was quite fast all together 8 months since the time I started until I ended up in Canada.

So you mean that I made a mistake to apply from Germany and now I have to wait.I olways make mistakes!

Wrong...every region has their specific office. For Germany and the Netherlands it is Berlin. As a German you can´t apply through Vienna.

Never knew Germany fell on such hardships that its trained citizens are runnin off to Canada! God help Indians, Chinese and other Refuse.

Firstly i would like to wish you a very happy new year ahead.I am a prospective immigrant to canada currently in germany as a student and my nationality is indian.As i was browsing through immigration discussion forums i found your posting ´is anyone from germany´ i was so glad to see that as i m so frustrated with the whole immigration process.Anonymous could we share certain things about immigration to canada if yes do reply me to my email i would be eagerly waiting for it.
