Subject: supporting documents... Q's!
now, i have one more question, i think...
haha... i´ll probably have a LOT more before i´m through, or at least at a point where i feel comfortable...
but for now... i pose this:

like i mentioned in a previous post, my fiancee and i are getting married in vegas, we´ll be going ´home´ (to ottawa) the day after, and applying for my PR from WITHIN canada. he will be sponsoring me.

as far as ´supporting documents´ go, since there will not be many people at our wedding (in fact, only two), because of the time of year (most people have already taken time off for christmas, and spent a lot of money on gifts), and where the wedding is taking place (it´s a special, funny story for my fiancee and i, about vegas... it´s where we first met)... we were thinking that since there will be few of our friends in our wedding pictures and such (and neither of our parents will be there), that letters from our friends and family saying why they cannot attend the wedding and the fact that they would if they could... would suffice as evidence that or intention was to have a ´real´ wedding, no matter how small.
does that sound like a good idea?

any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
thank you so much :)
xo.

Quite interesting, but really not convincing - sorry.
Any better ideas?

are you going to have any ´reception´ in Ottawa for those who cannot make the wedding? As long as you show with full transparency the relationship, the wedding and give then anything that might be relevant - they should be satisfied.

we will, indeed, be having a reception in ottawa.
i was thinking that, as well... that if i include pictures from that... it might help. pictures and an explanation of the situation (as stated above).

also, i was thinking that... really, if they had any doubt, they´d ask for an interview, which would almost set my mind more at ease. you know?

if the relationship is real, then all the questions in world will not be any difficulty. Let them ask away. I don´t think they will dismiss a case without giving a couple opportunity to substantiate the relationship. I would include some kind of statement about an Ottawa reception. You can send verification after the fact to assist your application. Good luck
