Subject: common law confusion |
Does anyone know what exactly CIC needs to know by the question "when did you enter your common-law relationship?" on my in-canada PR application form? is it the date started to date? to live together? or one year since living together?
thanks for your help!

I guess... (in reply to: common law confusion) My guess is since you moved out with your partner...

(in reply to: common law confusion) It is the date that you both started to live together at a joint residence. You need to be able to support the date you give with documentary evidence of a joint lease etc.
Good luck to you,
