| Subject: common law confusion |
Does anyone know what exactly CIC needs to know by the question "when did you enter your common-law relationship?" on my in-canada PR application form? is it the date started to date? to live together? or one year since living together?

My guess is since you moved out with your partner...

It is the date that you both started to live together at a joint residence. You need to be able to support the date you give with documentary evidence of a joint lease etc.
