Hi,
I got the PR and my visa is going to be expire on 11/01/2007.I can´t give entry to Canada before 03/01/2008 due to some commitment. I would like to send my wife and kids to Canada .Later I will join them in First week of March´2008.I don´t have valid USA visa,I am on I-94 and it will expire on 27-Feb-2008,so that I can go and come back USA and move Canada again in March´2008.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

As far as I know if your visa expires on 11/01/2007 you MUST do your landing BEFORE that!
I guess you could just go for a weekend if you need to return to USA ... don´t screw up! What is the use of waiting for a PR if you cannot commit to complete the process!

1st of all congrats for ur P.R visa , i will also suggest u just make a entry 2 canada before 1/11/07 for a day or two and then come back to U.S ,
2ndly i want 2 ask from where u had applied ur Aplication , and d expiry of ur medicals is d same as on ur Visa expiry date , do let me know , if u dont mind ...?

If you´re the principal applicant, your family cannot land before you. If you and your family don´t land before your visa expires, you will lose your PR. You should make every effort to do the landing. You don´t even have to stay overnight.

thanks alot for ur feedback and for ur concern , rajiv i dont understand one thing that if u had given mediclas on 28/10/06 , and ur P.R visa expiry date is 1/11/07 , how they extend ur visa date by more 3-4 days (c its gud for u ) , bcos P.R visa is valid till date for one year which is as same as d medical date , but in ur case i doesnt get it , Rajiv if u dont mind can tell me one more thing when is the issue date for ur visa ..., i know i am giving u alot of trouble , but ur advice may be give me some direction in our application ...
