| Subject: Migrate to Canada - Migrate to Australia |

I am trying to find out whether it is easier to migrate to Canada or migrate to Australia!
I live in Albania and to do anything from here is hard including the living itself. I hear that migrating to Australia is slightly easier. Does anybody know why and if this is true or not? I am well spoken in English and have a good education. Any help would be ´helpful´.

From what I heard it is much easier to immigrate to Australia and New Zeland than to Canada, since these countries are further away from Europe and their immigration percentage is much smaller. They also need more people for some reason.

You need to have guts to go and live in Australia. It is quite far from most other countries. Look at it this way, it takes 18 hours to fly from Europe to Australia. Would you migrate now?

Australia has also some good benefits as well. The climate is nicer, I hate cold. You go to Australia and you have summer almost all the time, isnt that nice - you can play soccer outside year round. Well it is far but when leaving your country maybe you want to go as far as you can in some cases.

Australia´s criteria is much more strict. They have a special policies and they allow less people comparing to Canada. Check the stats people.

i think that both of the countries are very similar. they are both easy places to live. but australia is much warmer.canada is also a really nice place to live.

That is a good question. I would say Canada. You see I have heard that it is very hard to start a new life if you come from a different country arriving in Australia. They are not as welcoming as Canada. I recommend coming to Canada over Australia.

I dont think Australia is at all any place to migrate.It is a country of rude uneducated people.

Im moving to Canada after 5 years in Australia. I become Australian after 2 years. I think both countries are very good to live & work based on my experience living in Australia & what I have researched about Canada. In September 2005 Im going to start my adventure in Canada & I hope it will be a good one. At the moment I call Australia my home.
