Subject: If interview is needed in USA, which city?
Hi all, I´m about to send in my application to Buffalo (finally) but I wanted some advice/opinions. It asks that if an interview is needed, which city is preferred? Does anybody know which city has the shortest waiting times for interviews? Thanks and HAPPY HOLIDAYS to everyone!

The immigration interviews are held in NY, LA, Seattle and Detroit. But you can not choose the city you want to have interview in. It is decided based on your place of residence.

There is no official data as to which embassy is the fastest but from my experience I believe its LA.

That is not entirely correct. You can choose 2 cities you would like to be interviewed in. It doesnt matter where you live. I live in VA my preference was NYC but I got mine scheduled in Detroit, that was my second preference. If I had wanted to do it in LA and Seattle I would have gotten one of those. In some extreme cases they will give you something that you did not choose but mostly one of your 2 preference will be assigned.
