Subject: How the application file is organised
  Hi All,

I am about to submit my application for Canada Immigration in Buffalo office of CIC. My question is after filling all the application forms and collecting all the relevant docs(both work experience and educational to be sent as attachments), how to submit the whole bundle?
I mean should I attach the docs in some plastic or cardboard folder with some kind of marking indicating the content types as educational ,workexperience , police certificates or spouse docs etc.?

Please give any idea about the way the docs and applications have to be organised

Regards

Rajiv

Hi

I submitted each set of documents with a covering letter clipped to them..explaining or reasoning why i could´nt submit a specific document or in some cases explaining my situation etc or you can simply mention what the set contains.
Dont use folders as its more work for them.

regards

Print out the application checklist for Buffalo (I also printed our names, address, email on the checklist). Place all forms and documents in the order listed (except fee payment and photos). After IMM008, group principal applicants forms (listed in section 1 of checklist) first, then spouse´s forms, and then adult dependent´s forms. Staple check to the bottom of IMM0008. Place photos in envelopes (detailed in guide for FSW application). I paperclipped these envelopes on page 2 of IMM0008. Clip the checklist on top of your application. No added fillers or by-products!

You didn´t ask but here are some tips. Make sure all questions are answered. If they don´t apply to you, answer "N/A". Check that your dates for personal history and work experience correspond with each other and that you accounted for all months of your life since you were 18. I recommend sending your application by trackable mail.

Good luck!
