CBV333,

Sure.

You know the incident. After that incident I started to be more carefull, specially Balwant warned with something which makes sense to me. I don´t wanna be in any meaningless problem for just expressing my views. If I participate anywhere, I definitely can´t refrain myself from fully expressing, this site gave me a feeling that it is not the best place to do so. Here I sometimes have to speak aganist some regular participants, it is already proved that there are some guys who can report you to the authority for silly reasons.

I enjoyed talking with you guys; Richard, you, many others.. Learned and still learning many things from Sharon..Roy..Uniden..Jim B.

Good Luck to your Canada venture.

Departed Canada...do you REALLY think there was a report made to authorities or was the guy blowing smoke? To whom would he report? Which country, the country of cyberspace, or the country of Canada (against someone that does not even live in Canada?) If any reporting went on, I am guessing it was to the association that is supposed to govern immigration consultants and it would not have been for making ´racist´ remarks. I would think the only thing the consulting association cares about is misrepresentation. The way Roy talks, they don´t even care about that one either.

the only bad person is apparently me, for requesting that the whole stupid conversation be obliterated so it would not hurt anyone further - and that included myself. Shoot me.

Wait, do you really believe that a report for something said on internet forum would be taken seriously by authorities? And authorities of which nation?

Departed Canadian,
I understand how you feel, I myself tried coming back but it is hard to make substantial and meaningful contributions since people who does not know me are still talking about "racist remarks" and that I am not living in Canada. I am living in Canada but working overseas. My family members are all in Canada, only myself is out of Canada and working for a Canadian company in the Caribbean and South America. Jim B. knows where I am living, he said so. There are certain individuals on this forum who cannot appreciate stimulating discussions on Immigration matters but are more satisfied in the trivial dscussion and in most cases wrong advice are being given. Like you Departed Canadian, I also visit this site whenever I get some spare time but I will not make any major contributiions until I see some change of attitude from certain individuals. Some individuals just want to be the dominant factors on this site so when fresh ideas come, they resent it.They used words to force people out or frustrate them. I can never forgive that individual who said that my only interest in Immigration is to steal money from my clients. These are words that indicate that I am a dishonest person. This shows the quality and class of certain individuals on this forum.

Nikolai, my friend don´t be so naive. The Internet is the biggest source of information for the CIA, FBI , CSIS, Scotland Yard etc. I had a good friend, a school mate who was working for one of the agencies listed here, and his job was to read every discussion forums, every country newpapers, blogs, hacked into emails if possible, looking for certain information which I do not want to disclose here. Five months ago, the FBI was in Guyana checking out computers in a remote part of Guyana called Berbice, and they ended up seizing a few computers from an Internet cafe but no arrest was made because the individual who they were looking for used false names etc. There is a guy by the name of Al Shukrijumah of Guyanese or Trinidadian origin, he is on the most wanted FBI list and because of him most Internet cafes are being monitored in the Caribbean/Latiin America. Many people are wrongfully being reported to Homeland Security and their names are on the U.S NO FLY LIST,including Cat Stevens who now has the surname of Islam. Remember what happened to the Canadian Computer guy, Arar, who was wrongfully deported by the USA to Syria and tortured. He was Canadian. Because of botched computer research on the Internet due to people having similar names and faces, many are being arrested and accused wrongfully. At the moment five Guyanese and Trinidadians are being accused for plotting to blow up the JFK Airport, and are facing extradition to the U.S. All have Muslim names. Now some of these guys do not even have visa for the U.S, all are dirt poor and don´t even have the airfare to go to the U.S but thanks to the Internet and false informers these poor guys might not live to see the streets again. All of them are over 50 years old and I think three are in their late 60´s. How do you think the police are catching the child sex predators, monitoring chat sites, discussion forums etc.Nikolai, I can go on and on with more examples where the Internet can cause you great trouble. So just be careful and know what you say and you will be OK.

Balwant, please do not confuse homeland security, pornography rings and silly immigration forums.

I am not sure what your problem is. You are INSISTING on keeping a conversation alive that is over a week old and gone! "certain individuals"... who are you referring to? me?

How long do you want to keep this pot on the stove?

You claim to be a professional. How about acting like one.

Sharon,

Please don´t feel guilty (if you feel so) because of my decision, it wasn´t because of your action leading to delete some of the posts. Though I would be glad to see a post by the webmaster or you requesting or the reasons to delete the post. Webmaster has full right to do so, you or anybody has full right to request so. But that has to be clarified to avoid farther misunderstanding (remember few days ago a posting stating a conspiracy theory indicating you, Roy, and the webmaster??). You at least acknowledged that, and deserve a thanks for that.

It was simply because of the warnings given by Balwant. You also acknowledge that. What he says makes sense to me, we all live in a world of disbelieve today. In such situation, innocent guys suffer more than the real culprits. I already have to pass extra security every time boarding airplane, still have to go a long way for the US GC, so don´t want to jeopardize my life for nothing. Like he said, internet is a good source of detecting crime today, though may seem funny, but very much possible. However, I also have strong doubt that any Canadian agency would take his case seriously. They have lot other important matters to give time.

Balwant,

Like Sharon said, I also didn´t want to drag this post for nothing. That´s why didn´t start any new thread with my departure. We are all mature here, if someone makes any comment then that is totally his/her responsibility, if that invidiaul doesn´t feel sorry then no point of dragging that issue. Isn´t it? I´m not saying who is right or wrong, just expressing my views on handling such matters.

We are all human, commit mistakes sometimes in the spur of moments. However, there are many nice words in english language like sorry or apologize to correct ourselves and thus claim respects from others. I don´t know why we all sometimes forget that.

My regards to all, and I urge please forget what happned before, there are many important issues here to give time.

Thanks
