Hi All
I recently moved to a new place and was wondering how do we update our address in our file at CIC. I looked at their website, they have a number if you are in canada, if not then check with your local consulate. Since i applied in Buffalo, I emailed them at their enquiry email address and informed them of the new address. I also asked them if I need to let anyone else know but no response. So do anyone of you people know any other way to update the address at Buffalo/CIC. I am almost at the last leg of the process, Its been more than a month than I did my medical. So I am a little worried as I dont want my ppr to get lost.
Thanks.
Raza.
PS : I did change my address at USPS and I am getting my other mail forwarded to my new address.

(in reply to: How to change address....) When you got your AOR they sent you a letter and on the back there is a form for "change of address".
Fill it and send it to them. It is simple.
By the way did you get passport request or you are waiting for it ?

(in reply to: How to change address....) Thanks CBV333, Now I would have to find which box is it in as i have just moved to a new place.... :)
And no I have not received the passport request yet. I believe it should be anytime now as my medicals reached Ottawa on Aug 1, 2007.

(in reply to: How to change address....) Try faxing a simple letter with file details (number, date of birth, and your name) and new address. Your e-cas will show address change in few days.
