When both parents are PR holder and give birth to a child outside Canada, how does the child get his/her PR status when returning to Canada ? With Family class ?

The child has to be sponsored by the parents in the Family Class. The time factor depends on the location of the Visa office. In the Caribbean, it is about 6 months. The parents will have to apply for a Visitor´s visa for the child to accompany them to Canada in the meantime until PR processing is complete.

Thanks Balwant. I guess the child would not need a visitor visa if he/she is american right ? but then how long can the child stay in Canada until the process is complete ?

Hello CBV333,
Sorry for the late reply, either the site was down or the webmaster blocked me from accessing it, I could not access the site. Was the site down? Whilst my computer could not access the site, my secretary went next door at the Internet Cafe and got access to it. There is someone on this site who does not want me as he or she is feel threatened but whoever it is, should not think that way, because I do not want to take away any business from anyone. I am satisfied with what I have. Or they might be jealous of having someone knowledgeable about Immigration law here who can give proper advice to the members of this forum, i.e they do not want any competition. I know I have been blocked since this morning, but I would appreciate if others can confirm that this site was down this morning, the whole half day.
Now for your question: The chld does not need a visa but will be allowed to stay a maximum of 6 months in Canada as a visitor, this can be extended for a further 6 months.

Hello SutarB,
She went across next door to the Cafe and asked them to see if they can access the site and the cafe employee told her yes, they access the site. But probably the cafe owner lied. Anyhow, thanks, it erases some doubts I had.

Sharon, Do not ask Roy how he knows about me, I know you. You are trying to belittle me in an indirect way, you ass hole. Bally your cultural difference or the offence that you think that you have taken is in your mind. I´m glad your taking a vacation and will soon be home in the boosom of your family. Sharon and I have never met and I think only three times have we ever spoken on the phone. Bally and I met from what I can´t remember. He has been to my office once maybe twice I think were we discussed things that we are both experiencing. We sat together at the same table at a conferewnce in Toronto.

Roy, I only access this site early in the morning and late at night as I usually have a busy day.When I could not access it this morning, I tried throughout the morning, and I thought my IP Protocol might have been blocked by the Webmaster on instructions of someone. When I did got on back on the site, I asked CBV333 to confirm that the site was down, and he said yes. Sutar B also said the site was down. I appreciate these gentlemen response. But I emailed you this midday and you also confirmed the ste was down. You even called me about it and thank you for calling.So two persons answered my questions on this site, so why did this woman Sharon has to respond too and in a negative manner? I do not respond to Sharon when she is writing her garbage which she thinks is good advice and I do not want her to respond to me. All I want her to do, is JUST IGNORE ME AND I WILL IGNORE HER. Landed Man let me hear what you have to say because you seems to know this woman very well.
