| Subject: no visa after 70 days!!!! |
there is no response from new delhi high commission yet,after 70 days of submission of PP,upon their written request...when they will send the visas??

hey chahal,
when did ur medical held,is there any problem in ur medical,i mean did u get any response frm embassy regarding ur medical,on which category did u applied?abt this the thing i know is that the embassy in new delhi takes 2-3 months to issue the visas,so theres no way instead of being patient.according to me its a matter of days now,do let me know when u recieve ur visa.

what category of immigration did you apply under?
Also does anyone know is there is a maximun amount of time a visa office can hold your passport for?

There is no maximum time for holding the visas , they kept mine for 6 months before asking for new PCC´s. The only thing is that it depends on the expiry of the medicals. If it is somehwre soon you will get the visas early , if there is time they can take upto2 months. I think going to the embassy with a stauts request application would help. i did the same.

Jas is absolutely right , there is no maximum time for holding d pp and they havent mentioned anywhere ...? so plz be patient , u will get it ...., it always depend upon d expiry date of d medicals .
