I need assistance to drop my application. DO I need to hire a lawyer or is there any specific procedure to follow for dropping ur application. Please provide text if possible.

1) are you the principal applicant (the Canadian)
2) at what stage is the application
3) are you currently using a consultant

If you are sponsoring a spouse and you wish to withdraw the application before your partner becomes a permanent resident, think twice. Never do anything so serious in anger. To re-instate the application will cause very serious issues.
You need to fill in another Undertaking of Assistance form and the first box says to withdraw sponsorship. It is also advisable to call the tele centre and inform them of the express post tracking number that you have cancelled the sponsorship.
