hi Sharon (sorry I haven´t talked to you so far, but I see you are one of the main persons Ppl call in order to get credible information on immigaration) Could you help me in this case?

, I came to Canada as a student and after 3 years I got my PR beginning of last year (Jan 2006). As I have heard from couple of friends, it seems I can apply for Citizenship after 730 days (including 1 year as a student before getting PR). I am not sure if this is true?

I crossed to US more than a few times and I didnt keep track of how long I stayed in US on each trips, as I was going to US on vacation. Will it be a problem if I use an approximate count of these days? What are the consequences if I forget to deduct those days not in canada?

I would encourage you to account for them, saying exactly what they are, and allow CIC the freedom to say that they aren´t counted against your residency requirements.
