Ok folks, I am about to put the package in the mail for Buffalo . The only thing left is a review. So here is the list of documents I am submitting. I need your opinions. Please feel free to let me know if I am missing anything or if you have any suggestion. I am claiming 78 points. Here we go:
Education (25 pts)
I am submitting following:
* Certified copy of Masters Degree + Sealed transcript from US University. I have same for bachelor but not need to submit ?
Work experience (19 pts)
(Been on paid OPT from Jan 04 to July 04 then H1B from Oct 04 to July 07 with same company) H1B from July 07 to present with another company). Submitting
- Letter of employment from both companies
- First and last 3 pay stubs
- I797 certified copies (to show that work is labor certified for highly skilled workers)
Only worry here is I work as Engineer in Training, which what every engineer in US have to do until you have 4 years of experience and pass the PE license. Don´t know how the visa officer will interpret the title "Engineer in Training". Do you need to explain ?
- Age 10 pts
* Copy of passport
- (24 pts)
Just got today my IELTS results: 7.5, 7.5, 8, 8.5 (average 8)
Official language in African Home country is French so I didn´t take any exam Submitting
* Copy of IELTS and a letter explaining 18 of education in French.
-Proof of funds
No cash in the bank will present
* deed for house with 70K in equity with appraisal of Aug 07. Granted real estated in down 10% in my area. Hard to prove though, I admit.
* Title of property oversea. Could provide proof of money transfers.
* Titles for 2 vehicles worth 18K.
- No job offer but could provide multiple follow up emails of very good phone interviews and companies willing to do a final face to face interview.
Any thing I am missing that will improve my application ? I will appreciate any help you could provide. Thanks.
