Subject: Attestation-Canadian relative's Income Tax Papers |

I am claiming 5 points under the category of adabptability, Canadian PR holder residing in Canada. I have all necessary documents to prove the relation.
But to prove her address in Canada, I have acquired her Canadian Income Tax papers (original) issued by ?anada Revenue Agency dated May 2007.
Is a copy of the Income Tax papers is enough or has it to be attested?
Attestation by Canadian Embassy requires first attestation by Canadian Foreign ministry which I do not have, and it is a lengthy process now.
Is attestation really required. or a copy is enough, or shall I send the orginal papers itself. Kindly advise.

(in reply to: Attestation-Canadian relative's Income Tax Papers) Hi,
I got my relative´s tax papers attested by a Notary
Public and it was fine. This was for Hong Kong, so your
case may or may not be different. Best to call the local
office where you´re applying and get this confirmed.
Good luck.

(in reply to: Attestation-Canadian relative's Income Tax Papers) My relative is a single mom raising her kids and it seems to me that she has no official income. She babysits to get cash.
Can I just prove she is a citizen with a copy of her Canadian passport?
What kind of documents should I use to prove she´s my relative?
Hope to hear from you guys soon,
Toto.
