hello all,
Firstly, I would like to mention how much I appreciate people´s contribution in this forum.
I am sponsoring my parents from overseas and have some odd question.
If i made like enough money to meet the sponsorship requirement and want to invest in RSP...would it effect the total income I earned.
Example,
required income from CIC $33,000.00 assuming
total income earned $36,000.00
Want to contribute to RSP $15,000.00
after I contribute this r they still going to take my income as $36,000.00 or $21,000.000?
Probably it is Revenue canada question, but I was hoping that if someone else had similar situation....
Thanks
Minj

(in reply to: sponsoring parents, income related questions) They want to know how much are you making, they do not want know how much you spend and where do you invest. You can withdraw money from RRSP account anytime so do not worry, you are good. Just prove how much are you making, attaching paystub, employment verification letters etc.
