Subject: Can I live in Canada w/ wife while PR is routed? |

I believe I have everything I need, aside from getting the FBI check completed and back to me.
I have completed the Outside canada application, but I can easily do the inside canada application as well.
Am I allowed to live with my wife in Ottawa while all this PR process is happening in buffalo? I really would like to live with my wife while all this is happening(As does everyone, Im sure) So, That said, here are things completed
Part A, B and C have been completed
the only thing not done is application submitted, as I am waiting on the FBI thing to come through. I am grateful to any help anyone has.
question 1) Can I legally live with my wife while my paperwork is submitted?
question 2) Is being married likely to expedite the process of canadian immigration?
question 3) If I am allowed to live with my wife in canada, should I complete the inside canada application or should I stick with the outside canada application?

Outside of Canada application is way faster.
If your in a common law relationship or married does not make a difference. The onus is on the two of you to prove your relationship.
Living with her while the process is being completed is a little tricky.
When you complete the schedule one form put down your residence as something in the States. Then come with the intention of a very short visit. Sometimes intentions have a habit of changing.
When you arrive at a Port of Entry do not come with the household pets, pots and pans, plants etc. etc. Pack light.
Once you enter if you are not documented you can stay for six months as a visitor. By the time your visitor status expires you should be approved IF you have completed your application properly. IF is a huge word.
IF YOUR APPROVED YOU WILL HAVE TO CROSS BACK INTO THE STATES AND RE-ENTER CANADA TO BECOME A PERMANENT RESIDENT.
YESTERDAY I AGREED TO REVIEW ONE OF MY SISTERS FRIENDS SPOUSAL APPLICATION, PRO BONO. SHE IS A HOSPITAL ADMINISTRATOR AND HE IS A DOCTOR. THEY DESTROYED THE APPLICATION AND MADE THIRTY MISTAKES AT LEAST. THEIR APPLICATION WOULD HAVE BEEN REJECTED. TODAY THEY WILL NO LONGER BE PRO BONO CLIENTS.
Take your time and read the guide three or four times. Good luck!
