Subject: Medical exam in a different country
  Hello,

I´m a Venezuelan citizen living in Japan. I applied a little more than a year ago through Venezuela and two months ago I got the papers for my medical exam. I did my exam in Japan.

Can anybody tell me about their experiences with out of country exams and the time it takes? In the paper from the Canadian embassy it said it takes about 4 weeks to receive the results. Am I being to impatient here?

ANY IDEAS?!

It will take about 4 weeks. I did my medicals in a foreign country as well. I received PPR in 3 months after my medicals. Keep at least 3 months for PPR.

Thanks - that´s good to hear. I forgot to mention that the hospital sent the medical file 2 months ago to the processing centre and still nothing...
I´ll start panicking again in a month or two from now.
