Subject: Roy, please help
My PR card will expire on august 2008.

I have a problem with my Citizenship application because they asked me for finger print, and I called CIC many time without results.

My question: in PR process is it will be easy to renew my PR card, or they will take longer time like or they will ask again for finger print my application for citizen? I did not made any offence during my stay in canada.
Thank you for advise

I am assuming your not staying in Canada, (during my stay in Canada) now? Is this your concern over your fingerprints? Fingerprints go to the RCMP and then are sent back so are you concerned that the prints will show that they were taken ellswhere?

You are right, I spent sometimes outside Canada. Two years out of the last five years. The fingerprint was taken electronically inside Canada, In Montreal and I submitted it from montreal.
Please advise if their will be a problem in renewal of my PR card.
Thanks again Roy.

Hey I´m getting good at reading between the lines, LOL. Your allowed to travel and to stay out of the country so go get your prints taken again and submit them again.

Khan: I went to the RCMP for fingerprinting today for my job, a staff there told me it takes about 120 days. But if you go to a private agency to do the electronic fingerprinting, it takes only 72 hours. However, there are not that many outlets across Canada that provide electronic fingerprinting. And if the individual has even a minor criminal record, it will be over 120 days.
