Subject: Simplified application process and marriage
Hello, I live in Peru and I want to become a permanent resident in Canada. I know that I can put a form in the embassy now and pay the fees, and maybe in five to six months I will be asked to send the documents that complete my application.

The question is, what civil status should I write in the forms if now i am single, but I am planning to get married in three months? should I tell them that I am married or single?.

Thank you very much for your response.

Martha.

Apply now as Single when asked later provide marital status update and relevant documentation.

Hi for your help guys? ... I wonder what happens if I am single and I change my marital status after that ... will my bf have a chance to go with me to canada in case I am given the residency?. What happens with the application fees?

Thanks God you are in the other side of the screen.

Martha
