Subject: Roy, Sharon, CBV333 please help
  Hi ,

This is my 3rd mail, as the earlier 2 have not been answered, here are my questions

1) Is it ok to take print of Schedule1 form back to back on same page

2) Photos on PR Application form are to be pasted or stapled or clipped ?

3) In Checklist section 1 it is written that the PR application form has to be signed. But I could not found any place to sign . How are you dealing with that

Regards

Rajiv

1) Avoid back to back and print on 2 different pages.

2) I clipped the photos for my application & have not either pasted or stapled. Clipped should be fine.

3) There will be a box to sign wherever applicable clearly mentioning the place to sign. Have a look in detail and you will see the box.

If you dont see it, forget it. But be careful that if you dont sign where you are supposed to, application will be returned as is without a file # and check not being cashed.

Don't know what to do now (in reply to: Roy, Sharon, CBV333 please help)
Thanks Praveen and CBV333,

I am still unable to find a place in the form where I can sign. I could find Only Schedule 1 form for background declaration that has a field for signature.

I don´t know how you are able to see that is missing to me after many repeats. I asked one of my friend and even he could not find any palce to sign except at Schedule 1 form.

I don´t know what to do now

Rajiv,

I think it depends whether you´re using the Regular or Simplified Application Process forms.

In the Regular, you sign Schedule 1 and Addition Family Members forms. The main form (IMM 0008) has no signature space.

In the Simplified, the main (and only) form (IMM 0008SW) has a signature space.

Thanks Richard,

I am applying as a regular SW, and you have hit the nail. I have to just sign at one place in schedule 1 form and as I am married and have kid that means I don´t require signing of additional family form .

Rajiv

You have to sign on the additional family information form. See Note 1, Note 2 and Section D. Read the forms and the guide carefully instructions are there. If you will miss out something they will return your application back.

Samm,

Thanks a lot, your advice is life saviour.

you know I submitted the application before reading your mail. But somehow I was able to see thru what you advised me about the section D , I have fortunately signed that and you know I just saw that during my last set of revision.

This particular section is slightly tricky and there are chances of doing the mistakes. But somehow I was able to smell it and correct it before submitting .

I have also put my initials on every page of all the forms and attachments and my resume as well.

It took me nearly 3 months to complete the application preparataion and document collection which involved translating the documents of my wife in English , IELTs test, police verifications from India and US and what not

I submitted my application to post office today around 2.00PM , Lets hope for the best.

Thanks Samm once again for taking care of me

Regards

rajiv
