We are finally landing next sunday, but have to come back the same day and move for good next spring/summer.
Myself, wife and a 3 year old.
We are taking the following with us. Can someone please tell if all is well?
1. COPR papers
2. Copies of bank statements (I don´t get originals since I´ve
enrolled in paper-free statements)
3. Passports
4. Proof of status in the US
5. A rental car
6. Goods to follow list

Rental car might be a problem. Do a search in this forum on that. Canadian law does not allow Canadian permanent residents or citizens to enter Canada with a U.S. rental car. You may be able to get an exception with the immigration officer at the border in that this is your first entry as a new immigrant, but this is not guaranteed.
Everything else looks ok. You´ll need to have ready an address in Canada where they should send your PR cards. It can be a friend´s address. If you don´t have this now, you´ll have to provide this to them later in order to get your cards. It´ll be much less hassle for you to have this address ready when you land.
