should we show them just the bank statement as a PROOF (or) check ?If a bank statement, should it be a in a canadian bank account, or any bank account in the world, for example an account in the states or india ?
should we show any evidence of transfering the money to a canadian bank account?

personally i´ve just taken bank statements for my visas to canada. that has been enough. they were foreign accounts. that said, be as thorough as you can cause if they have any doubt that you can support yourself, then they´ll ask for more proof.
